Site Characterization
Our consultants have extensive experience in site investigation and site characterization. GMND conducts site assessments that are targeted toward the most efficient and cost effective solution. Data collection activities are conducted, where appropriate, to provide the data required to design and construct an effective remedial solution.
Site investigations typically involve reconnaissance surveys; soil borings; well installation; sampling and analysis ; pump tests and preparation of assessment reports. GMND consultants also have extensive experience utilizing state-of-the-art tools such as geoprobe equipment to provide fast and economical subsurface investigations with minimal waste generation or disturbance to the site. All data obtained during the investigation is evaluated and summarized in a concise report, which accurately describes the data collection procedures, analytical test results, and the hydro-geology and geology of the site.
Remediation Site Plan
Based on the site assessment results, GMND consultants formulate a plan of action for reducing or eliminating or containing the contaminants. GMND remediation plans
feature treating the problem at the source, to eliminate the pollution before it travels
downstream and pollutes a wider area. GMND remediation plans incorporate the best
of all available technologies and methodologies, including bioremediation where applicable. As a result of detailed site planning, GMND consultants determine what resources are
required to ensure successful remediation.
